Country music has never been more popular and country fans are in for a treat when a brand new station, Country Hits Radio, launches across the UK on DAB digital radio, online, via smart speakers and mobile apps.
Country Hits Radio will play today’s best country music with artists including Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Florida Georgia Line, Dan + Shay and Carrie Underwood and appeal to modern country music-lovers aged 25-44.
Confirmed presenters for the station include country music radio host, Baylen Leonard (BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4) who will join the station for a daily weekday show; Nashville’s Ty Bentli, who will share the best music and news from the US country scene, Monday to Fridays; and singer-songwriter Una Healy (The Saturdays, The Voice of Ireland) who joins the station for a weekend show.

Test transmissions for Country Hits Radio start on DAB digital radio from Monday 1 April and online and via the app today. The station will officially launch on Friday 5 April.
