Fun Kids Junior launches on digital radio

Fun Kids has launched a new station Fun Kids Junior, for pre-schoolers and their parents.  The station launches today (22nd July) and will play songs for little ones to sing and dance to,  bedtime stories and lullabies overnight.  There will also be lots of games and chances to win great prizes.  The station will be presented by Dan from Fun Kids who currently hosts the Animal Hour.

Managing Director of Children’s Radio UK, Gregory Watson says:

“Fun Kids has always been a radio station for the whole family, but it concentrates on 6 to 12-year-olds. Parents and our little listeners love our Fun Kids Junior show so much that we thought it was time for them to have their own full-time radio station.”

Station Manager of Fun Kids and Fun Kids Junior, Matt Deegan told RadioToday:

“Adults have hundreds of radio stations, it’s only fair that kids have more choices on their radio dials, or what they ask Alexa to play them.”

Fun Kids Junior is available on DAB+ in London and the South East,  via the Fun Kids website, in the Fun Kids mobile app and on smart speaker by asking ‘play Fun Kids Junior’.
