DJ and producer Charlie Powell has joined the line-up of national digital dance station, Capital Dance, as the new host of Monday afternoons from 4pm – 7pm.
Alongside Capital Dance, Charlie will also host The Capital Weekender bringing listeners non-stop party anthems across the Capital network every Saturday and Sunday from 1.30am till 5am.
Charlie Powell said: “I’m so excited to be joining the Capital family. It hasn’t sunk in yet, but it’s a dream come true. My passion is always playing the biggest and best dance music for everyone and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do this on the Capital Weekender & Capital Dance! I can’t wait to get started!”
Capital Dance launched in October across the UK on DAB+, smart speakers, via Global Player, and at capitaldance.com, playing the latest dance hits, anthems and club mixes.
The line-up is fronted by MistaJam, the leading DJ, producer and tastemaker, who hosts Drive on Tuesday to Saturdays from 4pm – 7pm on Capital Dance, and the Capital Weekender, Friday and Saturday from 7pm, on both Capital and Capital Dance.
