Magic Radio’s new flagship weekday breakfast show with international recording artist, actor and presenter Ronan Keating and award-winning broadcaster Harriet Scott kicked off this morning (4 September).
Magic Breakfast with Ronan and Harriet started at 6.30am with Harriet welcoming Ronan to their first show, and making the first track they introduced together A-ha’s Take on Me.
Ronan joins a presenter roster which includes writer and presenter Mel Giedroyc and world-famous singers Rick Astley, Kim Wilde and Melanie C.
Ronan’s co-host Harriet Scott boasts an acclaimed and award winning radio career and joined Magic Radio at the start of 2016 to host the Weekend Breakfast Show. The station boasts a new look daytime schedule, with Nick Snaith hosting a brand new 10am to 2pm show.
The Magic Radio brand has 66% of its listening via a digital platform, and targets a core audience of 35-55 year olds. The Magic Radio brand has recently evolved with a refreshed music position, new talent signings – the centre-piece of which is Ronan Keating – and new events such as Magic at the Musicals and The Magic of Christmas, plus the creation of the Magic Network with brand extensions Mellow Magic and Magic Chilled, both digital-only stations.
